Description
The Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (DOL/ETA), is soliciting proposals to provide technical assistance, research and analysis, report-writing, development and delivery of training, and logistical and administrative support to assist the Employment and Training Administration in improving the quality of services to its customers, and building and operating a high - performance workforce development system nationally. The period of performance for the prospective awards will be 12 months from the date of contract execution, with three 1-year options to extend at the discretion of the government. Indefinite Quantity/task order type contracts are contemplated being awarded under this solicitation. This solicitation is a Partial Small Business Set-Aside. It is anticipated that up to 15 contracts will be awarded under this solicitation, nine to small businesses inclusive of a Hubzone certified contractor, and six to large businesses. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541990, with a $5 million size standard. Requests for Proposals will be available on the FedBizOpps site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov, approximately 15 days from the date of publication. Request for Proposals in hard copy form will also be available upon written request, only on a first come, first served basis, until the supply is exhausted. Telephone requests will not be honored. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The fee will not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the solicitation document. Closing date for receipt of proposals will be March 29, 2002, at 2 p.m. local time. Requests for proposals must cite RFP-DCS-02-12 and must include two self-addressed labels. Failure to enclose labels may cause delay in receipt of the solicitation. No collect calls will be accepted. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view the websites for any amendments made to this solicitation. Offerors interested in networking and/or being placed on a bidders list for the above referenced RFP, please provide the Name and Address of Organization; Telephone Number; and Point of Contact. This information is to be submitted electronically to Chari Magruder at cmagruder@doleta.gov, by 2:00 p.m., March 8, 2002.
