Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is seeking concerns having the ability for providing Community Corrections Center and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment services for female (only) offenders in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area (Calumet, Dodge, Fond Du Lac, Kenosha, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington, Waukesha, and Winnebago counties). Services required include care, custody, control, accountability and treatment, to include furnishing subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the BOP Statements of Work (SOW), Community Corrections Center (CCC), dated August 2001 and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT), dated November 16, 1999. A firm-fixed, unit price, requirements type contract is anticipated. The estimated number of inmate days for Line Item #1 - CCC services are 7,300 inmate days for the base year and 3,650 inmate days for option years one, two and three. The estimated amount for Line Item #2 - TDAT services for the base year are 2 (two) intake assessments per inmate, 240 thirty-minute individual counseling sessions and 720 thirty-minute group counseling sessions. For option years one, two and three the estimated requirement is for 1 (one) intake assessment per inmate, 120 thirty-minute individual counseling sessions and 360 thirty-minute group counseling sessions. The RFP issue date is on or about 11/26/01 and the estimated closing date is 01/28/02. This solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloaded instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No fax, telephonic, or written requests will be accepted for this solicitation.
