*****SOURCES SOUGHT************ We are looking for any prospective contractors that provide maintenance on a Glenayre Paging system. Please reveiw the attached Statement of Work and Contact TSgt Warren Riley @202-757-5237 as soon as possible. A List of Equipment that is being maintain will be provided as requested! STATEMENT OF WORK Task Order Title: Glenayre Paging System One Year (Paging Support Service Agreement. 1. Background The White House Communications Agency is seeking support from a prospective contractor to help maintain the current Glenayre Paging System for the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. WACC provides paging to a variety of people in support of the President, Vice President, United States Secret Service, and the White House Staff. 2. Objective This Statement of Work is to provide the means for maintaining the paging system for the next two years until a suitable replacement is found. The current system is manufactured by Glenayre Electronics, Inc. and we looking for a contractor that provide maintenance on this paging system. 3. Scope This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the tasks and services to be performed and supplied by the prospective contractor. 4. Requirements Hardware Replacements. If a covered piece of Equipment (hardware) malfunctions or fails in normal use, GLENAYRE ELECTRONICS, INC. shall, upon the White House Communications Agency return of the Equipment to the prospective contractor, either repair or replace the defective item. To request repair or replacement, the White House Communications Agency will promptly notify the prospective contractor of a failure providing the serial and part number of the defective item. The prospective contractor shall provide the White House Communications Agency with a ?Return Authorization? (?RA?) Number. The White House Communications Agency will then return the Equipment to the prospective contractor, at the White House Communications Agency?s expense, by shipping the defective item to a service location specified by the prospective contractor. The returned item will be (a) properly packed and shipped with prepaid insurance and shipping charges, (b) labeled with the RA Number; and (c) accompanied by a detailed written description of the defect or fault. Upon proper receipt of such Equipment, GLENAYRE ELECTRONICS, INC. shall complete the repair or ship a replacement part within thirty (30) days for GLENAYRE ELECTRONICS, INC. -manufactured Equipment or within forty-five (45) days of Equipment manufactured by a third party (exclusive of statutory holidays and weekends). Replacement parts may be new or refurbished. If refurbished, a replacement part shall be equivalent to new in operation. Such repaired or replaced items provided by the prospective contractor shall be free from defects in material or workmanship that would prevent compliance in all material respects with the applicable documents for a period of ninety (90) days from the date the prospective contractor ships the repaired or replacement item to the White House Communications Agency. Prospective contractor shall return repaired or replacement items to the White House Communications Agency at the prospective contractor expense. Advance Hardware Replacement. The prospective contractor may provide advance replacement parts for defective items being returned to the prospective contractor for repair or replacement If stock is not available, the prospective contractor will endeavor to provide the advance replacement item within ten (10) business days. White House Communications Agency shall ship the defective item to the prospective contractor's designated service location within twenty (20) days from the date the prospective contractor ships the advance replacement part. Maintenance Release Updates. Periodic maintenance Software updates need to be provided as released. Software Updates. The prospective contractor will provide the White House Communications Agency with software revisions for previously purchased turn-on features of the GLENAYRE ELECTRONICS, INC. owned software. These revisions may correct, improve or update software functioning, but do not include any necessary hardware or new features. The White House Communications Agency shall be responsible for installing the updates. Telephone Support. The prospective contractor will provide ?around the clock? over-the-telephone support on an ?as needed? basis for emergency service-affecting faults. The prospective contractor will need to provide over-the-telephone support on an ?as needed? basis for all non-emergency support. The White House Communications Agency agrees to provide remote access to the system in order to facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of problems. Full Access to the Glenayre Technical Service Website (GSN). Password-controlled access will need to be provided to GLENAYRE ELECTRONICS, INC. GSN Extranet. Product and technical bulletins, online manuals, software downloads, and other important information will need to be readily accessible. Hardware Updates. For GLENAYRE ELECTRONICS, INC. manufactured products only; the prospective contractor shall provide non-featured hardware revision level updates as deemed advisable by GLENAYRE ELECTRONICS, INC. when the White House Communications Agency sends Equipment to the prospective contractor for repair or upgrade. ****FOR ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION, PLEASE EMAIL TSGT WARREN RILEY @ rileyw@ncr.disa.mil or call at 202-757-5237.
