Description
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) located in Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia anticipates entering into a five-year (base and four options) firm-fixed-price/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for up to 55 digital photocopiers with network capability, and up to 15 microfilm reader-printers, cables & harnesses for Government-furnished Digital Access Control (DAC) equipment, management of five (5) Government furnished customer ordering workstations, and four (4) laser printers. The contractor shall provide maintenance and clerical support on the above listed equipment, replenish supplies in all photocopiers, reader-printers, and local printers as needed. An example of replenishing supplies include but are limited to paper, toner, toner cartridges, developer, dispersant, new or replacement accessories, and repair parts. In addition the USPTO also requires the contractor to provide support to the Public Search Services Division. This includes providing sufficient and qualified management personnel, dedicated technicians, and key operators to provide overall project management of government and contractor furnished equipment, key operator services, public assistance, and management of the Government furnished magnetic card encoding system. The contractor shall also support operation of the high-speed Promark photocopiers counter; and provide a monitor for the action of the public users in the PSR's (Patent File Archive) area in a satisfactory services under the contract during all hours of operation. This acquisition is being offered for competition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns.
