Description
The U. S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command-Atlantic intends to procure public Safety Equipment items utilizing Simplified Acquisitions Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 and Policies in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. All interested offerors shall call or e-mail to request copy of solicitation. Item descriptions and quantities are as follows: 48 ea. MagCharger Hi-Power Rechargeable Flashlight System w/A/C Charging System, 8 ea. Garrett ?Super Sensitive? Portable Metal Detectors, 32 ea. Pads, Foam Training, 400 ea. ASP 21? Holder Swivel, 400 ea. Peerless Standard Handcuffs, 400 ea.Galls Cuff Keys, 400 ea. MK4 Police Size 10% Pepper Defense Sprays, 400 ea. Surefire Light 6Z Combatlight, 400 ea. Combatlight 6Z Surefire Flashlight Holsters, 48 ea. ASP 26? Batons, Training, and 12 ea. Redman Training Suits. This is 100% set-aside for manufacturers, dealers and/or distributors that can provide these products. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 421490 and Small Business Size Standard is 100 employees. The Government will award a contract to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation which is most advantageous to the Government, best value, delivery, and other factors considered. Due to the urgency of need, all responding have up to 5 days after publication of this notice to respond. No responses will be accepted after the 5 days. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES FOR MINORITY, WOMEN-OWNED AND DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES (DBE?s)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT?s Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT?s Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $55,000 with interest at the prime rate.
