- Description
- The Space and Missile Systems Center's (SMC) Developmental Planning Directorate (XR) is announcing a Concept Call for the Space Support Technical Planning Integrated Product Team (TPIPT). The Space Support TPIPT develops concepts to meet long-range needs of the Space Support Mission Area, which covers the Sub-Mission Areas of Launch Operations and Satellite Operations. The efforts of this year's Space Support TPIPT are in response to the current interest and support for the development of a responsive space operations capability, focusing on the development of a responsive launch support infrastructure and the rapid initialization of satellites. The Concept Call provides further guidance on the types of concepts that the Space Support TPIPT is interested in obtaining. We request that interested parties view the Concept Call in order to determine their level of interest and participation. To view the Concept Call document, interested parties may access the TPIPT website: www.xrweb.net (you must register with the website to have full access, after which you can follow the links to the Space Support TPIPT), or request the document from the POCs below. This is not a solicitation, but a Request for Information. The government will not pay for the information submitted in response to this request. Parties interested in responding to the above request should direct any administrative questions to the POCs below. Concepts in response to the above request should be submitted no later than 7 June 2002.
