- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotation being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Vendor shall provide all tools, parts, labor, materials, equipment, and shipping necessary to for ruggedized conversion upgrades (Motorola PN# NTN6665/Qty-100) on our existing Motorola Astro Saber hand held radios (Motorola PN# H04RDC9PW5N). Ruggedized batteries (Motorola PN# NTN7058AR/Qty-200) for these radios are also required and should be included in the proposal. Travis AFB will ship radios for upgrade at cost to vendor, this cost must be included in the proposal. The vendor is required to perform an operational check upon completion of upgrades. This solicitation, F1360121150500, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 02-06. The proposed solicitation listed here is unrestricted. This acquisition falls under the Standard Industrial Classification number 3663 and the North American Industry Classification System 334220. Effective 1 Jun 98, all contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to receive an award from Travis AFB. Call 888-227-2423 or www.ccr.com to apply. FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Item applies to this solicitation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. Price, compatibility with existing equipment of the product offered to meet the Government requirement, and past performance are the evaluation factors. The following additional FAR provisions and clauses do apply: FAR 52.212-4 is incorporated by reference and will be incorporated in the Purchase Order by reference. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. Quotes without this provision completed will not be considered.
