- Description
- The United States Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command, Armament Research Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC), with the Product Manager Small Arms, has a requirement for Back-up Iron Sight (BUIS). The BUIS shall provide a 300 to 600 meter capability on the modular versions of the M4 Carbine and M16A4 Rifle. The contractor shall fabricate the BUIS in accordance with the provided U.S. Government drawings and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP). The Request for Proposal will be posted on the TACOM-ARDEC Acquisition Center website located at http://procnet.pica.army.mil on or about May 31. A non-disclosure agreement will need to be executed in order to receive the drawings under this solicitation. This is a small business set-aside. See Numbered Note 1.
