- Description
- SPECIFICATION for an electro-hydraulic winch, which will deploy and retrieve a seismic chirp tow body from oceanographic vessels. Delivery FOB destination to: Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS 39522. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed-priced purchase order. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO web site: www.neco.navy.mil under "Business Opportunities" and solicitation number "N62306-02-Q-3084". The Government will distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued. The NECO web site is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document posted on the referenced web site.
