- Description
- The Federal Information Processing Services (FIPS) recompetition has a new title. It is now referred to as Ames-Consolidated IT Services (A-CITS). NASA Ames Research Center has made a decision on what contract vehicle to use for the A-CITS recompetition. The contracting methods considered were Full & Open Competition, and Government Wide Agency Contract (GWAC) vehicles. GWACs are contracting vehicles offered by other Government Agencies. The contract vehicle selection process consisted of a thorough analysis resulting in the Center selection of the Department of Transportation (DoT) Information Technology Omnibus Procurement (ITOP) as the vehicle that best meets the needs of NASA Ames Research Center.
