Description
The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) intends to procure the following hardware: One VP-4 Vector Processor (32 GFLOPS), two SP-2 Scalar Processor, one ECL151-Out Differential ECL Interface Card, and one ECL151-In Differential ECL Input Interface Card. This equipment is required to upgrade computational and data throughput capabilities of the Texas memory SAM-550 digital Signal Processing (DSP) System in the MSIC Signals Analysis Laboratory. These requested devices must be physically and electronically compatible with the SAM-550. If proposing on other than specified equipment the contractor shall provide complete specifications and detailed plans for the integration of the system being offered and provide an on-site demonstration of this alternative system. Texas Memory Systems, Inc has already been identified as offering the required equipment. No RFQs or RFPs will be issued other than this notice. All offerors interested in submitting an offer must fax their proposals including complete technical data to MSIC, ATTN: MAJ William Russell 256-313-7963 not later than 31 May 2002.
