- Description: This synopsis identifies Buckley Air Force Base, CO has a requirement for refuse collection services. The solicitation will be issued under a separate Request for Proposal (RFP) identifying the specific Government regulations and standards required in performing Government refuse collection services. Refuse Collection Services consist of but not limited to furnishing all plant, labor, tools, part, equipment, supervision, vehicles, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform refuse collection services at Buckley AFB as delineated in the statement of work. Performance period will be from 1 April 2002 through 30 September 2002 for the base period, followed by four (4) one-year option periods. Solicitation anticipated to be issued on or about on 8 March 2002. A site visit has been scheduled for your convenience on 6 March 2002, at 0900. We request you arrive at the visitor Control Center located on 6th Avenue, no later than 0840, to ensure timely in-processing. Please ensure you bring two forms of identification, your company credentials, proof of vehicle registration and insurance. Request for Proposal will close on 22 March 2002. This requirement is full and open with no restrictions. Request for proposal is available only on the internet at http://www.eps.gov potential contractor must be registered in the Central Contractors Registry to be eligible for award (See internet site: http://www.ccr2000.com). Notice to potential offeror, you must be licensed and registered to perform the service in the state of Colorado. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code/ North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 4212/562111, and the small business size standards $6. Million. Basis of award will be past performance and price. Attachment titled ?Other? is a pre-release of the Past performance survey. All potential offeror please provide copies of this document to at least seven (7) contracts you have provided this service within the last three (3) years.
