Description

Provide all labor, material, parts and equipment necessary to maintain Xerox 4135 Laser Printing system and online control module at the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, Judiciary Data Center, One Columbus Circle, N. E., Washington, DC, for the period June 11, 2002 through September 30, 2003. Provide on-call, on-site maintenance, 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, Monday thru Friday with a 2 hour on-site response time and preventive maintenance on the basis of every 1,000,000 pages printed. Provide an inclusive hourly rate to provide maintenance on Saturdays, Sundays and Federal Holidays when required. At no time will the equipment be down for longer than 8 consecutive hours. Include per impression utilization charge. The serial number of the Xerox 4135 is S/N 6D5002571.This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be provided. A written solicitation will not be issued and any requests for a solicitation package will not be acknowledged. This synopsis shall serve as Request for Quotations RFQ-CB-001 which seeks written proposals for the type of maintenance outlined herein. Proposals will be accepted until close of business June 3, 2002. This acquisition will be processed using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is our intention to issue an order under a GSA FSS Contract, so please provide your GSA contract information with your proposal. Proposals received in response to this notice will be considered for award to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest overall cost to the Government. Questions relating to this notice shall be submitted in writing no later than May 28, 2002 and sent via facsimile. Answers will be provided in writing via facsimile before time for proposals expires.
