Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested on an unrestricted basis and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F45613-02-Q-A033 is issued as a request for quote utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01. North American Industry Classification System Code 561730. Small business size standard is $6M. The contractor shall furnish and install approximately 2,397 cubic yards of Premium Grade Medium Red Fir Bark in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and Pricing Schedule, which is incorporated as part of this solicitation and can be downloaded at link: http://www2.eps.gov/. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), applies to this acquisition. Offers may submit their offer via mail or fax. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this Request for Quote to the offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and provides the lowest total price.
