Description

The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Office of Indian Education Programs (OIEP) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Center for Educational Technology in Indian America for developing training materials and training for school administrators and school board members, education line officers, teachers, parents, and others in-charged with carrying out the Title IV Safe and Drug Free School and Communities Program. The contractor shall provide ten hours of culturally and developmentally appropriate training video tapes and supporting media; 4 regional trainings for BIA Field Education Specialist, other Field Education staff, school administration and school staff; Two national training events that will target Tribal Leaders, School Board members, Parents, Community members, Law Enforcement, and other stakeholders; Technical assistance to BIA funded schools and dorms; A final report that will contain quantifiable data to support the success or failure of the project, problems encountered, and highlights of the project. This requirement will be purchased under the acquisition of commercial items. There is no solicitation regarding this sole source synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Only written responses received by 3:00 p.m. MST, May 24, 2002 will be accepted. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in response to this notice. See note 22 (Sole Source Award). Note 22 modified to read 5 days in lieu of 30 days.
