- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-02-Q-0163 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The Government intends to negotiate with only one source, Martek Power Abbott Inc. 2727 S LA Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90034-2643 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) (ii). The Government does not possess complete specification/drawings to allow for adequate competition. Martek Power Abbott is the original equipment manufacturer and is in possession of all required specifications/drawings. This equipment must integrate with the existing system in terms of form, fit, fun ctionand compatibility. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2002-07 and DCN 20020426. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334419 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 -. Qty 2 ea. Power Supply P/N: RM50T/5/15-AF(U), CLIN 0002- 2 ea. Power Suppy P/N: RM50T/5/12-AF(U), CLIN 0003 ? 2 ea. Power Supply P/N: RW100S/24-AF, CLIN 0004 ? 20 ea. Power Supply P/N: AW100S/28-A . Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination to Crane, IN 47522 within 16 weeks after award. Final inspection and acceptance will be at NSWC CRANE. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirements of this solicitation may be rejected without furth er consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. . The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you mu st be properly registered in the Government?s Central Contractor Registration (CCR). If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
