Description
An industry briefing is scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2002, regarding the pending recompetition of the Program Information Systems Mission Services (PrISMS) contract. The PrISMS contract currently provides Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) information services such as applications software, computer systems, Information Technology (IT) security, telephone, data reduction, audio/video and other services. The contract also provides certain Agencywide services such as development and maintenance of Agencywide applications, services, and systems delegated to MSFC, support to the NASA ADP Consolidation Center (NACC), the Consolidated Agency Personnel/ Payroll System (CAPPS) and the NASA Incident Response Center (NASIRC). The purpose of this briefing will be to discuss development and implementation of an Agencywide IT strategic plan and its potential impact on the pending PrISMS recompetition schedule, particularly delays in release of the draft RFP and subsequent delays in award of the follow-on effort. The briefing is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Central Time in Morris Auditorium, Building 4200, George C. Marshall Space Flight Center, MSFC, Alabama 35812. All parties interested in attending this briefing MUST furnish the names (limited to 2), U.S. citizenship status, and company name NOT LATER THAN COB Tuesday, May 21, 2002 to Jeffrey S. Should presentation charts be generated for this discussion, parties may request an electronic version. The information furnished will be provided to MSFC Security in order to facilitate entry through Gate 9, Rideout Road, Marshall Space Flight Center/ Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Parking for this briefing will be in available parking spaces surrounding the 4200 complex with the exception of spaces designated as reserved, handicapped (unless applicable), and for use by Government and other authorized vehicles.
