Description

NA This activity is seeking information from companies that may be able to provide a commercial or existing Small Lightweight Blasting Machine since the Government is considering the purchase of these items. The Blasting Machine is to provide a means to init iate electrical Blasting Caps, and the Mine Clearing Line Charge (MICLIC) systems. The draft Performance Specification can be viewed at https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/MARKET_SURVEYS/market.htm Interested sources are encouraged to submit the following written information at NO COST or obligation to the Government: Name, address, point of contact and telephone number, description of components, and any brochures/literature. Responses should prov ide information regarding the experience of your company with this type of item, dimensional characteristics, any test data, suggested changes to the draft performance specification and whether or not your company is a small business. Any information rece ived as a result of this announcement will not be provided to other contractors and may be utilized for the purposes of obtaining samples for test and evaluation or for developing a solicitation for purchase.
