Description
The Foreign Agricultural Services (FAS) Request For Information (RFI) to provide services for Certified Instructors for approximately 2600 (520 people X 5 days of training) CORE application training days. The CORE training will consist of Lotus Notes Introduction (2 days) and 3 days of Microsoft Office 2000 applications. The Second phase includes optional courses at intermediate or advanced level for approximately the same number of training days. 1.0 Windows 2000 and File Management - 1 Day Program 1.1 Lotus Notes R5 Applications 1.1.1 Introduction to e-mail, Calendar, Address Book and To-Do List - 2 Day Program 1.1.2 Notes' Databases - 2 Day Program 1.2 Microsoft Office 2000 Suite Applications (Introduction, Intermediate, Advanced) 1.2.1 Word 2000 1 Day Program for each level 1.2.2 Excel 2000 1 Day Program for each level 1.2.3 Access 2000 1 Day Program for each level 1.2.4 PowerPoint 2000 1 Day Program for each level The contractor shall be Multilingual, certified instructors must be available to teach each level of training in English and the in-country native language, world-wide. All training curriculums may be a minimum of six hours in length and shall be offered in both FAS only group and regular company scheduled sessions. FAS employee's are located at over sites in over 80 countries in Europe and Africa, and must be trained in conjunction with dates of physical equipment installations at their sites. The contractor shall provide FAS use /lease facilities for 5 days after each session for their own training sessions. The contractor shall provide 30 day training support after class. The contractor shall provide a brief description of their capabilities stating present and past experiences and indicate whether the firm is small or large business or women-owned.
