- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitations will not be issued. Provide all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, for the installation of a complete irrigation system. The project shall include design and installation of irrigation systems to include adequately water 102,000 sq. ft. of Legacy buffalo turf sod, 450 sq. ft. of flower beds and up to 850 shrubs. The project shall include the following elements: Install irrigation system complete to include the following: Connect into 4 inch water line directly south, across the street to the parade field. (Bore and sleeve with PVC under road). Drip irrigation lines and emitters to irrigate 850 shrubs and approximately 450 sq. ft. flower bed with annuals, biennials and perennials. Irrigation lines and spray emitters to irrigate 102,000 s.f. buffalo turf. Timers and controls for all zones needed, including electrical connections. (Electrical available at the proposed gazebo). Weather station to include automatic shut-offs for precipitation, wind velocity and temperature. Faxed or telegraph offers will be accepted. Solicitation F48608-02-Q-0015 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. (FAR Clauses may be found by accessing WEB site at: farsite.hill.af.mil/ffar1.htm. NAICS Code is 56173 (SIC is 0782). The solicitation is restricted to Small Business. Refer to Attachment 3 for items, quantities and units of measure. Anticipated award date is 29 May 02. Project must be started by 1 June and completed NLT 30 June 2002. . The provisions at FAR 52.222-41 -- Service Contract Act of 1965,52.212-1, Instructions to Offer(s)--Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. A completed, signed copy to this provision FAR 52.212-3 shall be submitted with any offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. This solicitation will be available via the Internet at the following address: www.eps.gov. At the home page select the ESP for Vendors.
