- NAICS Code: 541990 The NAICS code for this procurement is541990 with a small business size standard of $6,000,000. However, the the Contracting Officer has determined there is not a reasonable expectation of obtaining offers from two or more small business concerns that are competitive in terms of price, quality and delivery. Therfore, this procurement is synopsized under full and open competition and will not be a small business set aside. Objective: The awarded contractor shall synthesize one quanity of 6.50 mCi Chlorodibromomethane [14C], with a specific activity of >5 mCi/mmol and a radiochemical purity of 95.0% minimum. The batch shall be shipped in 5 break-seal vaccuum vials containing 1 mCi and 1 vial containing 1.5 mCi of the chemical. The batch of chemical shall be delivered to the U.S. EPA customer within 6-8 weeks of placement of order from the customer. The contractor shall ensure that the isotope purity and of the chemical is at least 95% pure by GLRC. Chromatagrams and other data which demonstrate purity shall be provided to the U.S. EPA customer. The contractor shall ship the chemical by air express (overnight) on dry ice to Research Triangle Park, NC (address to be provided by customer).
