Description
NA Furnish all labor, equipment and materials to restore two damaged fishing piers in the C&D Canal to their original dimensions and extend one mooring dock in the basin at the USACE Project office site in Chesapeake City, Maryland. Bidders are urged to inspe ct the work sites. Approximately 25% of the work is in New Castle County, Delaware and 75% of the work is in Cecil County, Maryland. Liquidated damages are included in the contract, and bonding is required. The Invitation for Bid documents will be availa ble on the web page on or about 7 June 2002 and hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests shall be accepted. Contractors shall download this Invitation for Bid (including drawings) from the Internet at the following address: https://eb s.nap.usace.army.mil/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp on or after issue date of the Invitation for Bid; The official media of distribution for this procurement is the Internet Web Page. All amendments to this Invitation for Bid will be posted to the Internet we b page at the above address. Hard copies of the amendment will not be furnished. It is the contractor’s responsibility to monitor the Internet web page for amendments. Interested contractors must register on the Internet. If any of the contractor’s info rmation changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make changes in their user profile may cause a delay in receiving the Invitation for Bid and amendments. Bidder s are responsible for printing paper copies of the Invitation for Bid including any drawings. Bids will be due on or about 9 July 2002 at 11:00am. This procurement is 100% HUBZone set aside. The NAICS Code is 234990 with a size standard of $27.5 million. Affirmative action to insure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the resulting contract. Award will be made as a whole to one bidder. All contractors must be registered in the DoD’s Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 20 4.7300.
