Description

NA DESC: The scope of work for this contract shall include but not limited to construction of the Readiness Center, Alcoa, Tennessee. This project will be approximately 61,041 SF masonry type construction, brick and concrete block units with concrete floors, and a built up roof. The primary structure will be a two-story with mechanical and electrical equipment. Outside supporting facilities include military and privately owned vehicle parking, fencing, sidewalks, exterior fire protection, outside security l ighting, access roads, flammable storage, detached facility sign, and a flagpole. Physical security measures include but are not limited to fencing, security systems, guardhouse, and bollards to prevent access. Cost-effective energy conserving features i nclude energy management control systems and high efficiency motors, lighting, and HVAC systems. Plans and Specifications for this project will be available on or about June 17, 2002 in this office for the cost of $200.00 per set. A non-refundable cashie rs check or money order made out to the U.S. Treasury (not a company check) will be required to purchase the plans and specification documents. There will be no charge for the Solicitation Documents. The company that receives this award shall be register ed in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. You can register electronically accessing the on-line CCR form at http://www.ccr.2000.com. Additionally, Federal Procurement Regulations, now require that all contractors receiving an award from a Government agency provide a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number before invoices can be processed for payment. You may obtain a DUNS number by calling Dunn & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 233320, with a small business size standard of $28,500,000.00.
