Description

Project to ?Remove Hoists & Repair Floor (VNVP 001036)? will be issued in the near future. The work under this project involves the removal and disposal of the hydraulic lifts, associated oil/air lines and tanks and patching the concrete floor where hydraulic lifts were located. The work under this project will be completed in two major phases, with three minor phases under each phase. Work shall be completed and accepted on Phase I, prior to contractor performing work on Phase II. All work shall be in accordance with the statement of work and drawings. Magnitude of construction project is less than $25,000. Performance period is 10 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The work shall be complete in not more than 90 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. Solicitation is being reserved for emerging small businesses. Applicable NAICS code for this project is 235710, with a size standard of $12 million dollars. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the electronic posting system (http://eps.gov/). Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and obtaining the solicitation documents and any amendments. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive award of a contract. Information to register can be found on the Internet at http://www.ccr2000.com or telephone 1-888-227-2423. Estimated issue date for the solicitation is on or about 5 June 2002.
