POINT OF CONTACT: Barbara Hufford, Contract Specialist, ASU-320 (202) 267-8645 All written correspondence shall be addressed to: Federal Aviation Administration, 800 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC 20591 Room 406, ATTN: Barbara Hufford, ASU-320 barbara.hufford@faa.gov (for e-mail correspondence) In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System Section 3.2.1.3.12, industry is hereby informed that the FAA has a requirement valued at over $100,000. DESCRIPTION: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for technical engineering services relative to the Radar Support System (RSS) to support the Airport Surveillance Radar-11(ASR-11) Product Team and FAA regional personnel. These services will provide the Government with expertise in the continuing development and enhancement of the RSS used by the regions for siting analysis and radar optimization. The attached DRAFT Statement of Work describes the Radar Support System tool and requirements for engineering services to support the system. These services include software development, software maintenance, training, technical support, database generation and development, and model validations. Technology Service Corporation has provided engineering services relative to the Radar Support System since 1997 under Contract DTFA01-97-C-00049. The contract expires September 18, 2002. Vendors that believe they have the capability of fulfilling all of the requirements stated in the attached DRAFT Statement of Work should submit documentation detailing their credentials by June 6, 2002. In these documents, a firm must demonstrate that it has the capability to provide the requirements of the Statement of Work. This documentation shall not exceed five pages in length. Materials (please submit three(3) copies) shall be delivered to: Federal Aviation Administration, ATTN: Barbara Hufford, ASU-320, Room 406, 800 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, D.C. 20591. All interested parties are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to the market survey. SCHEDULE: All written responses shall be submitted by 3 PM local time on June 6, 2002. PLEASE NOTE THAT ORAL RESPONSES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
