Description

Sources Sought. The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, intends to purchase 200 each, Microcircuits, digital, Analog Devices part number HAS1201SMB or HAS1201A. NSN: 5962-01-355-0591. ASN: R400-4A11A1U41. This item is being purchased for the National Weather Service to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, Missouri. As these parts are in support of the current NEXRAD program, alternative or like items are not acceptable. The intended acquisition is for supplies for which the government knows of only one source, the manufacturer, Analog Devices, 7910 Triad Center, NC 27409. The specifications and drawings for the required supply are proprietary to Analog Devices. This is not a request for proposal and no solicitation is available at this time. Interested firms should submit in writing its name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the specified equipment. Also include the name, telephone number, and point of contact for businesses or other government agency to which it has previously provided the item. The information should be submitted to the address stated herein or may be faxed to 816-426-7530, attn: Jackie Shewmaker, within 15 days of publication of this notice. Failure to provide the required information will deem the request non-responsive. The government reserves the right to solicit bids based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice or award a contract to Analog Devices, Inc., whichever is determined to be more advantageous to the government without further notice. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 334419.
