Description

The United States Coast Guard, Civil Engineering Unit Juneau, Alaska is conducting a market survey to determine if commercial sources are available and capable to provide and install two municipal grade snow plows on two new F-750 four wheel drive trucks at the U.S. Coast Guard LORAN Station Port Clarence, Alaska. Incidental services to be provided on site at U.S. Coast Guard LORAN Station Port Clarence including all drilling, mounting, welding, assembling, or wiring of the plow system including; carriage to the truck frame, hydraulics and electrical systems to the truck systems, lighting brackets to truck bodies and operating hardware in the truck cabs. Post installation inspection and operational testing would also be incidental requirements. Specific Survey Information Desired: a) Name and addresses (including phone numbers and POCs) of firms interested in and capable of providing these requirements; b) Any contractor restrictions in meeting the requirement. For example indicate if your operations are limited to certain geographical areas; c) Indicate if your firm is a Small or Large Business, HUBZone and/or 8(a). All responses should be submitted by JUN 07, 2002 to the Contracting Officer, USCG CEU Juneau, P. O. Box 21747, Juneau, AK 99802-1747. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for the sole purpose of obtaining information from prospective offerors. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation will be issued at this time
