Description

Project to Install Hot Water Generator in Bldg 596 will be issued on 30 May 02. Work will consist of furnishing all necessary labor and materials to Install Hot Water Generator (FAC 596), in accordance with the Statement of Work. Project will require demolishing two hot water storage tanks with associated piping, valves and steam heater (tube bundle) and temporary installation of a second Government Furnished steam to hot water converter as to maintain hot water service during demolition of tanks and installation of new unit. Solicitation is expected to be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) on or around 30 May 02. Magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. Performance period is 21 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Solicitation will be issued for full and open competition. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS). Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the internet and obtaining the solicitation and amendments and downloading them for their files. Interested offerors must ensure that they are registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award.
