Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quote for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only request for quotations, quotes are being requested and a written request for quote WILL NOT be issued. This request for quote is for 1 each TCM Brand 15,500 LB Diesel Pneumatic Tired Forklift Model FD70Z8 with Standard Duty Side Shifting Fork Positioner 4th Valve and Dual Internal hosing dual drive tires; and 1 each 6,000 LB LP Gas Cushion Tired Forklift Model FCG30F9 with side shifting/fork positioner dual internal hosing 4th valve w/lever. These exact models are required to meet maximum mast fork height requirements and weight requirem ents. Interested parties can request a specifications sheet by contacting the contracting officer at 785-274-1212 or e-mail Sandy.Summers@ks.ngb.army.mil. ANYONE QUOTING THIS REQUIREMENT MUST SUBMIT A DETAILED SPECIFICATION SHEET FOR EVALUATION. Award sha ll be based on the best value to the Government. All of the technical evaluation factors other than cost or price, when combined, are more important than price. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions (Apr 1998). The clause at FAR 52. 212-5, Contract terms and conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Jun 1998) applies to this acquisition. Under paragraph b, the following clauses are incorporated: 52.203-6, Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to t he Government, with Alternate I, 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 252.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans; 52.22 5-3, Buy American Act-Supplies. The clause 52.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment (Aug 1996) applies to this solicitation. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes to D efense Acquisition of Commerical Items (Nov 1995), is applicable to this acquisition.
