Description

NA The U.S. Military Academy has a requirement for a contract to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for welding and brazing services for structural components and members, pressurized piping and such other steel ad copper alloy materials as may be required. The Contractor shall perform in accordance with all applicable ASNT, ANSI, ASTM, AWS, API, MSS, OSHA, and ASME codes, standards, and specifications at West Point, NY, from 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003, and four a dditional option years. Due to the nature of the work, most of the work may be done during the months of May through September. Each welder assigned to work by the Contractor shall be qualified to the Government approved welding procedure in accordance w ith ASME B31.1, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.5, ASME B31.8, ASME B31.9, or AWS D1.1, whichever is (are) applicable. The Contractor shall require each welder to perform qualification testing under the supervision of a qualified, and Government approved independent testing laboratory. Qualification tests shall be performed at the worksite. The solicitation will be issued unrestricted and will be evaluated under the Hubzone Preference Program. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All Con tractors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Responsible offerors may submit a proposal which will be considered. E-mail responses to Yvonne-Parson@usma.edu.
