Description

NA The New England District, Corps of Engineers, will prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to facilitate a permit decision regarding the State of Rhode Island, Office of Governor's application for a container port at Quonset Point, Kingston, RI. Ne w England District is seeking the services of an economic consultant with extensive knowledge of maritime and port economics to review and assess the applicant's documentation and assist in developing and reviewing the EIS. Tasks required in this effor wil l include literature review, attend meetings and scoping sessions, assisting in the development of the EIS, reviewing all economic appendicies, cost appendices, market analyses, etc generated by the applicant and reviewing the draft and final EIS documents , providing written comments as needed. The Statement of Work will be available on or about 14 June 2002. Requests for the Solicitation may be faxed to (978) 318-8207. The estimated cost over the length of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The applicable NAICS code for this procureme nt id 541618 with a Small Business Standard of $5,000,000. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
