Description

SYNOPSIS: Provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to replace foam deluge system bladders and associated piping to a fully functional system. The system consists of two 2400 gallon Chemguard Model #CVBT 2400 vertical bladder tanks rated for 3% MSAFFF type foam, with internal associated piping connecting to a venturi-type proportioner. Work is located at US Coast Guard Air Station Miami, Rotary Wing Hangar, 14500 NW 42nd Ave, Opa-Locka, Florida. The performance period is forty-five (45) calendar days from notice to proceed. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Award will be made to the lowest responsible quoter. The anticipated award date is April 22, 2002. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 234990, with a size standard of $27.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by this agency.
