Description
This is a code and part number procurement for 54 items coded to the following four companies: KEMET ELECTRONICS CORPORATION (31433); ADVANCED INTERCONNECTIONS CORP (61638); M/A-COM ONMI SPECTRA INC (26805); AND MOLEX INC (27264). The items will be grouped by CAGE. Each group will be awarded on an all or none basis, therefore only one award will be made for each group but each group may be awarded separately. Only the specified items in new and unused condition will be accepted due to customer requirements. The quantities range from 25 to 15000 each. The quantity estimates are for the basic contract period only. There is currently no quantity estimates for the proposed option periods. Delivery will be 30 days. Shipments will be FOB destination to a specified freight forwarder in New Jersey. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of June 13, 2002 at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. Pricing for the option years will be based upon an Economic Price Adjustment tied increases or decreases from the most recent commercial price list. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
