- Solicitation 791-13-02 posted April 25, 2002 has been postponed. Solicitation will be issued on or about June 10, 2002. Provide all labor, materials, tools, transportation, and supervision to relocate and/or install new switches for the existing 200 and 400-watt high-pressure sodium and metal halide type warehouse lighting fixtures in accordance with established Statement of Work. Project location is at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Service and Distribution Center (SDC), Building 37, Hines, IL. This facility is collocated with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Hines Hospital Facility at Roosevelt Road and Fifth Avenue in Hines, IL. The facility is approximately 500,000 SF. Project drawings depict warehouse area lighting to be rewired to separate switching and an approximation where the controlling switch(s) are to be located. Final location will be agreed to prior to work start date. Existing system conduit wire, wire-ways, etc. may be utilized to maximum extent possible. The estimated project cost range is $25,000-$100,000. Solicitation issue date on or about June 10, 2002. A pre-bid conference will be scheduled, exact date and time to be determined in solicitation. Work must be completed within 60 days from award date. This procurement is unrestricted pursuant to FAR Subpart 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The applicable NAICS Code is 235310 with a size standard of $12 Million applies to this procurement. NOTE: Bid documents will not be available via the web.
