Description
See Note 1. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion & Repair, NN has a requirement for pulse radar tank level indicators and assorted spareparts. This requirement is being issued by GovWorks under the franchise authority of the department of Interior on behalf of the Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion & Repair, NN. GovWorks/SUPSHIP intends to issue an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (IDIQ) type contract for the Pulse Radar Tank Level Indicators and assorted spare parts. This procurement is for commercial items and is being conducted under FAR Part 12 for commercial items. Please note the following shall apply to this procurement and will be included in the solicitation and resultant contract:The Buy American act as listed in the FAR subpart 25.1shall apply to this acquisition including the following Military specifications:Military Specifications: Radar TLI Units A. Mil-Specification Requirements:1. The Radar TLI are to be commercial type that meet the mil-spec requirements of Mil-L-23886C (SH).All Radar TLI units will be Pulse Radar Type Ohmart/Vega VEGAPULS 54 or Equal. B. Performance Tests Required:1: Each radar type must have passed all performance tests required in Mil-23886-C. 2: Each radar type must have undergone and passed Shipboard Evaluation Testing (SET) or a Land Based Test Evaluation that mimics the Shipboard use, for a minimum period of Six-Months.Interested parties must fax AND email their request for the solicitation package to Mary Coleman at 703-787-1009 or <mailto:mary.coleman@mms.gov> mary.coleman@mms.govmary.coleman@mms.gov AND Terrie Callahan at <mailto:terrie.callahan@mms.gov> terrie.callahan@mms.gov terrie.callahan@mms.gov by 12:00P.M.
