Description: The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) plan to issue an order to the Washingtonian Center Marriott, Gaithersburg, MD under the authority of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Washingtonian Center Marriott shall provide meeting space, services, and food for the DVD Workshop on June 2-3, 2002 for approx. 200 participants. Other sources sought were the Doubletree Hotel, Woodfin Suites, and Quality Suites in Rockville, MD via oral quotes. The anticipated award date is on or before June 2, 2002.
