Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for conference services for the 360 VU Meeting to be held in Dallas, Texas on December 8-11 2002. Through competitive procedures, it has been determined that the Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion in Dallas, Texas is the only vendor in the required area with enough space on the dates required. The Government shall award a fixed-price purchase order to the Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion for meeting space, food services, and audiovisual equipment. FAR clauses and provisions referenced in this announcement may be downloaded from http://www.arnet.gov/far. This procurement is authorized by Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13.5- Simplified Acquisition Procedures Test Program. The procurement document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through FAR Circular 2001-7. FAR 212-4, Contacts Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items , FAR 52-212-5, Contracts Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. This is not a request for quotations. A request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available.
