Description: The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to award a Purchase Order to George Mason University for its research proposal submitted under the Transportation Environmental Research Program (TERP). George Mason University will conduct research for the FHWA in motor vehicle engine operations and associated fleet distribution factors for use with the Environmental Protection Agency?s MOBILE series of emissions models. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about June 10, 2002.
