Description

NA The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and constructing the Beartail Creek-Palestine Road Embankment Protection, EP-01-01 in Tate County, Mississippi. This work consists of elevating approximately 2.2 miles of existing two lan e asphalt road in three closely located sections including the demolition and replacement of three concrete bridges and an approximate 0.2 mile new alignment section, and all work incidental thereto. Principal features of the work include mobilization an d demobilization, clearing and grubbing, demolition, earthwork, engineering fabric, stone protection, granular courses, hot bituminous pavement, pavement markings, corrugated polyethylene pipe, guardrail, erosion control, steel H-piles, precast-prestressed concrete bridge girders, precast and prestressed concrete bridges, storm water pollution prevention, and environmental protection. Plans and specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office Web Page at http://www.mvk.usac e.army.mil/contract/ and on compact disc at no charge.
