- ALL REQUESTS AND QUESTIONS SHALL BE IN WRITING. NO EXCEPTIONS. The Naval Academy has a requirement for the following: Clin 001, JBL Model 2490H Medium Frequency Compression Driver. 3-inch diam. Exit, 200 W continuous 250 Hz-2200 Hz responses. Weight equals 22.5 pounds. 2 Each. Clin 002, JBL Model 2392 Bi-radial horn 90 degrees ? 50 degrees beam width. 2 Each. Clin 003, JBL replacement coil/diaphragm D9R2490 For model 2490 driver) 2 Each. Clin 004, JBL replacement coil/diaphragm D16R2482 (for model 2485J driver). 2 Each. Clin 005, Custom built speaker box enclosures for the 2490H driver and horn system. See Diaphragm enclosed 2 Each. Clin 006, Shipping. 1 Lot. The drawing is for the enclosures for the JBL 2392 Bi-Radial Horn and JBL 2490H Compression Driver assembly. The model number 2510 bracket is used to hold the unit in place. The enclosures can be made out of any type of wood (Vendors shall state type of wood being used).and shall be able to withstand inclement weather and shall be painted white on the outside. Vendors shall refer to the JBLpro.com website for exact dimensions. Both enclosures do not have to be completely water tight, but shall serve as protection and be somewhat protective of the elements. Enclosures can be used as shipping containers only if the vendor does the following (1) Inset the four eyebolts (i.e. use D Rings that lay flat and be inset flush when not in use. (2) Opening mouth of the Bi-Radial Horn is inset (as in drawing) and is protect by a removable panel that could be placed over the open end of the box when the enclosure is not being used or when the enclosure is hipped.
