Description
NAICS Code: 421110 (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (ii) Solicitation RFQ-DC-02-00130 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-06. (iv) The NAICS code is 421110 with a size standard of 500 employees. (v) The Environmental Protection Agency plans to procure one mobile laboratory. (vi) Please see the EPA website: http://www.epa.gov/oamsrpod/elasc/hq0200130/index.htm for complete design specifications, and sample blueprints/images. The images provided are for illustrative purposes only and are representative of the last mobile laboratory the EPA procured, details contained in the design specs supercede any information found in the .jpg files posted on the website. (vii) If offering an equal, provide make, model and specification of the equal. (viii) Delivery: Performance Period to be 9-12 months After Receipt of order (please include proposed delivery date in the quote package); FOB Destination (Edison, NJ). (ix) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors _ Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (x) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement and price.
