Description

Alamogordo Air Tanker Base Construction: Base Bid: The base bid consists of the demolition of existing utilities, buildings and other related items, the construction of aggregate base, asphalt pavement, concrete pads and other items, underground water distribution, wastewater collection systems, electrical & communication distribution and equipment, a new office building complete with electrical, communications, water, sewer, fire detection, heating and cooling systems, a new fire retardant mixing facility complete with mixing, distribution, storage and loading systems. Also included is site work and ancillary items related to the major components of work.Additive Bid: The additive bid consists of the demolition of an existing building, utilities and other related items, the construction of a new office building complete with electrical, communications, water, sewer, fire detection, heating and cooling systems, related site work, asphalt paving, and concrete items. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 22, 2002. It will be a non-restrictive solicitation under SIC 1542. The Contracting Officer for this Project will be Rufus Cole 505-842-3342. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (25-FEB-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 28-MAY-2002.
