Description

This statement provides for the DECC Detachment-San Antonio directed effort to obtain on-site Registered Communication Distribution Designer for upgrade to existing Local Area Network. This objective includes on-site and scheduled support. Additionally, the installation of Cat5e Plenum rated cables from the MDF to specified locations by floor plan drawings and also installation of Cat5e Plenum rated cables from IDF #2 Communications Closet to various locations throughout Bldg 200. Installation of a Fiber Optic Backbone, extended Demarc and removal of cable. Project to will start the week of 3 June 02 during normal duty hours, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM with completion by 1 Jul 02. Final implementation, testing, training, and documentation during this period to be completed by 15 Jul 02. This LAN infrastruction upgrade will be handled in accordance with all of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications and standards.
