Description
This is a modification to a previous synopsis published in the Commerce Business Daily on September 13, 2001 to SP0100-01-R-4087, for Coveralls, Flyer?s, Anti-Exposure, Cold Weather unit (CWU) 62 B/P and 62 C/p. Item is a Qualified Products List (QPL) item. It is the Government?s intent to award one single indefinite-quantity type contract. Best Value Source Selection procedures will be utilized. Technical evaluation factors, in descending order of importance: (1) Past Performance, (2) Industrial Mobilization / Surge Mobilization Capacity, (3) DLA Mentoring Business Agreements. Technical Merit is more important than price. Progress Payment Clause will be incorporated. There will be a base year and TWO option year portions. Quantities are being changed and are reflected as follows: BASE YR. TOTAL: 2,222 Each Min / 4,000 Each Max (Breakout: 62 B/P (Men's) Estimated: 300 Each Min / 1,000 Each Max; 62 C/P (Women's) Estimated: 1,922 Each Min / 3,000 Each Max) OPTION YEARS (2): TOTAL: 2,850 Each Min / 4,850 Each Max (Breakout: 62 B/P (men's) Estimated: 2,100 Each Min / 3,600 Each Max; 62 C/P (Women's) Estimated: 750 Each Min / 1,250 Each Max). While both the 62B/P and the 62C/P have estimated minimum/maximum quantities per item, the Government reserves the right to change the minimum/maximum quantity per item as demands dictate. However, the overall combined minimum/maximum quantity of 4,000 Each (Base) and 4,850 Each (Option Years) will not change. All other terms referenced remain the same.
