- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Tonto National Forest, Cave Creek Ranger District intends to issue a sole source contract with General Modular Sales & Leasing for a modular office building under the authority of FAR 6.302. The office building was initially furnished and installed in 1997. There is a need for a one-year contract period with 4 one-year options. The Forest Service intends to build a new building in this location with the proceeds from the sales of administrative site land. Within the next 5-year period, the new office building will be constructed. If a new rental building were considered, there would be substantial cost to the Government that could not be recovered through competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial acquisition regulations.
