- The Solicitation for this project will be posted for viewing & printing on FedBizOpps approximately June 14, 2002. The closing date for offers will be approximately July 15, 2002. The solicitation will have the exact closing date. The project consists of approx. 4,800 rods of new construction; approx. 1,280 rods of reconstruction, for a total of approx. 6,080 rods; 4-wire fence (3 barb + 1 smooth wire); galvanized H Braces including gates. Total galvanized H Braces: approx. 175. Gates should be constructed at the original locations. Double H Braces to be constructed at corners, cattle guards, roads and gates. New materials (no wood, except for gates) are to be used in the construction of this fence. Contractor to furnish all material. Contractor to remove and dispose of all old wire and steel posts under new construction section. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to inspect the site, if desired, prior to submitting an offer for this project. Project location: Access east of NV State Route US 95. Access east Forest Roads: National Road #085 and/or 085A; Canyon Creek Road, Forest Road #084; Flat Creek Ranch Road, Forest Roads #689 and 086; Skull Creek Road, Forest Road #086, Willow Creek Ranch Road, Forest Roads #528 and 690; and Eagle Creek Road, Forest Road #161. Access to Forest Roads are between Orovada and McDermitt, Nevada. Fence access by 4x4 vehicle, ATV or horse. Est. start date is 7/20/02 with 60 calendar days for completion. Est. price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
