Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, has a project entitled Roadside Brushing 2002 on the Olympic National Forest. Locations for work include the North and South Hood Canal Ranger Districts and the North and South Pacific Ranger Districts. Project work consists of cutting all vegetative growth including trees and other vegetation less than 100mm in diameter, when measured 150mm above the ground, on roadway surfaces and roadsides. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Offers No. R6-OLY-2-20-O and will be available through this website on or about June 13, 2002, with offers to be received no later than the close of business (4:00 p.m. (PST)), June 28, 2002. Telephonic or written requests for this solicitation will not be honored. Award of this contract is anticipated to be made no later than July 15, 2002 and will run through March 1, 2003. Multiple contracts may be awarded. This solicitation is issued as a Small Business set-aside and FAR part 12, Commercial Items procedures will be utilized. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 11531 with a corresponding size standard of $5.0 million. Requirements of the Service Contract Act will apply to any resulting contract. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency.
