- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only RFQ; quotes are requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. RFQ No. 02-823-6717 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAIC Codes is 334419 and the size standard is $500. This is a BRAND NAME requirement electronic components manufactured by Motorola. The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) intends to obtain the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN's): CLIN 0001, Quantity of 4,MVME5101-2163, Single Board Computer; CLIN 0002, Quantity of 4,IMPC761-001, PMC Module; CLIN 0003, Quantity of 4, MVME761-001, Transition Module; CLIN 0004, Quantity of 4, SIM232DCE: EIA-232 DCE, Serial Interface Module. Standard Commercial Warranties are required. Quotes shall be firm-fixed price per CLIN. Desired delivery time is 4 weeks from date of award. F.O.B. destination is the National Institute of Standards and Technology, 100 Bureau Drive, MS 2000, Gaithersburg, MD 20899-0001. The Government will award a purchase order to the responsible quoter whose technically acceptable quote addressing all CLINS represents the lowest price. The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-07. Provisions applicable to this acquisition are FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, and FAR.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items. Offeror quote shall include completed FAR provision 52.212-3. The clauses applicable to this acquisition are 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; and Department of Commerce Agency-Level Protest Procedures Level Above the Contracting Officer, downloadable from http://www.nist.gov/admin/od/contract/protest.ht. FAR clauses and provisions may be downloaded from http://www.arnet.gov/far. Quotes must include the offer's Dun & Bradstreet Number, and Taxpayer ID Number.
