- *****This modification is to change the final delivery date from 31 July 2002 to 31 July 2003. All other terms and conditions remain the same.***** The National Marine Mammals Laboratory, U.S. Department of Commerce, has a requirement for development and production of devices that remotely release instruments which are attached to Steller sea lions or other pinnipeds. The work will be performed at the contractor's facility, with delivery of specifications to Seattle, and delivery of fifty devices to Kodiak, AK. Final delivery date will be 31 July 2003. First Article Testing is anticipated. A best value acquisition is planned, with technical being more important than cost. This will be a fixed price contract. This is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 334220. There will be option items for additional quantities of the devices.
