- Description
- The Federal Correctional Institution, Fairton, New Jersey, intends to issue a solicitation, FRQ20403-0013-02, for Phlebotomist Services. The contractor must have the appropriate educational qualifications, experience, and licensure commensurate with the job responsibilities. The services to be provided will include collecting, processing, packaging and shipping of all types of laboratory specimens including, but not limited to: blood, urine, fecal, and sputum. The contract type is a firm-fixed price, requirements type contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated requirements will be 104 71/2 hour sessions per year. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 30, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http://fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is June 20, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.
